Dealing with divorce? Maybe a custody evaluation (CFI or PRE)? Wondering how to help your kids cope and cope better yourself? Need help co-parenting and communicating with your ex? Your lawyer not as available to listen as you might like? You don't have to figure this all out alone! Seeing a therapist yourself and/or having your worried child seen makes a lot of sense during the stress of divorce--especially if you've suffered verbal or emotional abuse, need help setting boundaries, practicing good self care, and being more assertive. And the poor kids caught in the middle of high conflict need a lot of support.

For more than 20 years I've specialized in divorce work, from custody evaluation (CFI/PRE), to divorce counseling, parenting plan consultation and mediation, a divorce support group for women, and parenting coordination/decision making (PCDM). I understand the divorce process and am glad to help you or your child. I've even written some kids books on divorce

I know divorce can be tough, and I love to help folks make it through, healthier and happier. I offer individual and group counseling for adults and teens, and play therapy for children. If you or your child needs help recovering from the trauma, I offer EMDR and IFS. I'm also happy to help with parenting plan mediation or coaching for CFI/PRE.

Marian Camden's Groups

Adolescent Girls Group

Adolescent girls meet to share and learn from each other, as well as from the therapist. They learn relationship and self-esteem skills, how to be successful in school and with parents, how to think about what to do if big problems come up (like self-harm/cutting, substance abuse, sexual acting out), and how to be happier! DBT and CBT skills are included along with mindfulness and arts and crafts. Peer influence on teens is very strong, as we know. Why not use it in a positive way?
