Hi! I'm Mariam. I'm a licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes we can find a way forward to a more peaceful and fulfilling life. My primary focus is improving the well-being of folks I work with. I have worked with clients on a variety of concerns, such as struggles with anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and chronic stress. My approach is tailored to each person I work with, utilizing a variety of approaches and tools (for ex. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
I have extensive experience and have had great results working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, ADHD, self-criticism, stress/burnout, and difficult life transitions. Clients have provided me feedback that I'm non-judgmental and easy to talk to. My communication style is honest, warm, and compassionate.
I was inspired to become a therapist from a young age. I come from a long line of helpers in my family (teachers, caregivers, social workers) - being a Clinical Social Worker aligns with my values for advancing social justice and helping people live their best lives.
