I believe that our greatest opportunities for growth and healing are in our relationships with each other. In my work, I strive to help my clients to become more comfortable with their emotional experiences and to better understand themselves, their relationships and the world around them.
I have a relational, humanistic therapeutic style. While my approach to counseling is integrative and holistic, I often use mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and insight-oriented techniques. I do feel, however, it is most important to fully understand what my client is comfortable with, how they think and learn best, and to adjust my approach accordingly.
My therapeutic interests are broad, however I have a particular specialty in anxiety, depression, romantic relationships, women's concerns, grief, loss and questions of meaning and purpose. I value the opportunity to work with adults of all ages with racially, sexually and culturally diverse identities. Adults 18+. Self-pay only.
