About
I like to incorporate my creative spirit into therapy and I believe people of all ages can increase their self-awareness and express their feelings through movement. I utilize a multifaceted approach to achieve mind-body healing. In my therapy practice, I integrate techniques from EMDR, CBT, play therapy, and trauma-responsive yoga. I am passionate about tailoring my approach for each individual and couple, and I strive to make therapy a positive and impactful journey.
I work with individuals ages 13 and older and with couples. My areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, depression, complex trauma, relationship and attachment issues, teen issues, and grief and loss. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Northern Iowa. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
I accept Wellmark and out of state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Cigna, Optum, UMR, United HealthCare/UHC, Medica Insure and Medica UHC (but not Medica Aspire by UnityPoint).
