Welcome to my page. My therapeutic philosophy is one of genuineness, empathy, and acceptance. I believe in creating a safe confidential space for patients to feel comfortable processing the challenges that are affecting their functioning whether it be difficulty coping with change, depression, anxiety, grief, pain management and health related issues. My professional belief system encompasses collaboration between myself and my patient focusing on inner strengths and empowerment. I have over 20 years of experience providing patients with the understanding and support they require to overcome their issues. My specialties include but are not limited to mood disorders, personality disorders, GLBT issues, smoking cessation, weight loss, and stress management, pain management, and the ramifications of health related illnesses.
I trained at UM/Jackson and was elected Chief Psychology Fellow. I am a member of PsiChi and have presented at various UM sponsored conferences on ALS, Cerebral Palsy, and Neuropathy. I view the therapeutic relationship as one of fundamental trust and openness that I cherish.

This is an open group for individuals experiencing chronic pain. You will learn the correlation between stress, anxiety and increased pain. You will experience through hypnosis an alternate or adjunct method of decreasing pain thus allowing you to experience a fuller life.
