Hola! I'm Maria Villeda, but most people call me Mari. I'm a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Homegirl Roots Psychotherapy. As the daughter of immigrants, I understand the balance between cultural expectations, family dynamics, and creating a life that feels true to you.

My approach is warm, relational, and human. I believe healing happens through genuine connection. Alongside talk therapy, I integrate Brainspotting, a brain-body approach that can help process experiences beyond words. We'll move at your pace with honesty, compassion, and a little homegirl energy.
