About
I believe counseling is about finding meaning and purpose in our lives; about experiencing a deep level of self-trust; and about healing broken relationships. I use a solution focused approach inviting you to view your problems from a different angle. We'll focus on what things you can control and how to let go of circumstances beyond your control. I invite you to identify the sources of internal dialogue that generate self-doubt, anxiety and depression. Each week you will leave with small assignments designed to increase your self-awareness and self-confidence.
Is your marriage or partnership falling apart because you hope the other person will change? I help couples to identify the dynamics that prevent them from enjoying a healthy relationship; to examine their roles, and to take responsibility for getting needs met. You can create new ways of being together.
As the mother of 4 grown children, I have a good understanding of the issues parents face. I help parents navigate through difficult times with kids and family life. I am always challenged to live out what I support my clients in doing.
