I work with ages ranging in 5 to middle aged adults, and whole families. It is common to begin our first session by setting goals that are achievable and will help get my clients back to a satisfactory quality of life. Once the client feels they will commit and trust that they are capable of self-healing; it may be easier to explore and pull from their personal resilience. As a client navigates through uncertainty, it is also important they understand that there is no specific timeframe for outcomes. However, favorable changes in their life can begin as early as the first session.
I am experienced in providing therapeutic methods that successfully respond to depression, anxiety, impulsivity, trauma, grief, and conflict resolution in coparenting matters. Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, as well as EMDR, Collaborative Practices, Trauma and Grief therapies are all part of my practice.
