I am passionate about helping in the healing process using a strength-based therapeutic approach within the safety of a caring environment. It is with great empathy and understanding that I recognize the struggles and hardships one experiences when traveling down life’s many paths, despite at times it feeling that you are at a dead end or crossroad. My nonjudgmental approach is supportive yet honest in helping you find acceptance, resolve and inner peace.
My experience lies in working with adults, children, families and the geriatric population for almost 20 years in a variety of settings that include developmental disabilities, autism, traumatic brain injury, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma and abuse. I am an advocate for women facing problems of domestic violence and life transitions.
Given today’s current events surrounding immigration and the psycho-social impacts on women and children, I am a great proponent in supporting individuals and families to overcome what for many has been a traumatic journey.
