I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with an office in Miami-Dade County area and recently opened an office in Sandy, Utah. I am experienced in couples counseling as well as in individual counseling. I am certified in anger management and life/health coaching. I am trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I also have experience in working with clients who are undergoing an immigration process and an expert witness in immigration court. I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in the states of Florida, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Utah, and New Jersey.
In my counseling experience, I find that couples and individuals who decide to invest time in counseling usually have a better opportunity of a healthier life/marriage and are happier. Individual/couples report better physical health. I have been trained by The Gottman Institute for couples counseling and experienced in doing immigration evalutions.
I also feel that learning to manage anger is the best investment for an individuals who feels that anger controls him/her. I am trained to work with clients who are suffering from any type of trauma. I have specialized and trained in doing EMDR for my clients. This is an evidence bases type of therapy that is extremely helpful for traumas.
