Reaching out for support can be an intimidating step to take, and my hope is to create a space that leads my clients to feel comfortable to take these steps. My approach is direct and integrates trauma-informed therapies, unpacking systems of oppression, frequent laughter, and an abundance of compassion.
I excel working with adult clients with complex relationships to family, complex and single incident trauma, early attachment wounds, and challenges with self-acceptance. I am also passionate about working with other therapists, healers, and community change agents.
I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is the primary modality I use for trauma work. I also utilize Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) to increase clients' comfort and sense of security during processing. My continuing education centers around intersectionality and decolonial approaches to therapy.
