Seeking help can be an intimidating step to take, and finding the right therapist to trust with that vulnerability even more so. My hope is to create a space that leads my clients to feel comfortable and secure in taking these steps. My approach integrates trauma-informed therapies, laughter, and an abundance of compassion. My experience has led me to excel in working with adult clients who have histories of complex trauma, early attachment wounds, complex relationships to family of origin, and difficulties with self-acceptance.
I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is the primary modality that structures the trauma work I do. I have also been trained in Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) to increase my clients' comfort and sense of security during processing.
