As a prior military police officer, I recognize that we are all fighting a battle against something in life, and we can only use the tools we have gathered through our experiences. Unless someone comes alongside us, we cannot learn new things and grow into better champions for ourselves. My approach to therapy is rooted in relationships but is also very direct and focused. I use a combination of modalities with the goal of providing brief therapeutic interventions to help clients get back on track in their marriages, families, or individual lives.
I have found that many issues in families stem from simply needing new ways of seeing behaviors, and skills to be empowered. Bryon Post says, “Two things change the brain - positive relationships and positive environments and the positive repetition of both.” Let’s work together toward achieving both.
Above all else I value relationships. With that in mind my approach is a combination of modalities, with a strong focus using EMDR & multisystemic behavioral therapy techniques. We will develop concrete goals to shape how we approach therapy, and how we measure success.

Fluid Art Therapy for Teens
This is a 6-week art therapy group for teens ages 12-17 years old. It is offered every 8 weeks and is closed to registration after the group begins. The group focuses on six different topics relevant to teens while learning and using fluid art techniques to process and build confidence.
