Hi, I’m Maria Matty, LCSW/LISW and I serve clients throughout OH and TN. I believe that you are both the expert on your own experience and your greatest resource for healing. I have a holistic approach in my work with clients, addressing and affirming the whole person and guiding you to reconnect with the inner wisdom and resiliency that exists within you. I will be a good fit for you if you are motivated to take steps towards changing your life, but don’t know where to begin.

I practice DBT and EMDR because I believe in evidenced-based effectiveness that gets real results. I focus on empowering my clients to take responsibility for their mental health and the changes that are within their control. I don’t believe in helpless people or hopeless cases. I’m committed to supporting anyone who shows up with honesty and willingness.

As a social worker, I believe in dismantling oppressive systems and advocating for social justice and systemic change in our communities. I believe in practicing cultural humility while using my privilege to support those who have been systemically harmed. I identify as Queer, Pan/Bisexual, cisgender, and use she/her/hers pronouns.
