Anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, unhealthy relationships-these are the situations in life that may lead us to forget how strong, resilient, courageous and joyful we can be. Still, people also have an amazing power to heal, rebuild, and pick themselves up from negative circumstances and fully experience a better life. I see therapy as a journey toward viewing life from the perspective of our wisest, most compassionate and capable selves.
I strive to provide a holistic approach to my practice. My professional interests include, but are not limited to, working with trauma recovery, grief, anxiety, and depression. I am also interested in nutritional psychology, exploring how what we put into our bodies can affect our feelings and behaviors and how feelings and behaviors can affect our bodies.
The decision to obtain mental health help is a very brave and difficult. I recognize it is courage that brings someone to work with me and I feel honored to be a part of your journey. I believe a strong therapeutic alliance between a therapist and their client is an essential ingredient for successful therapy, thus I am to create a safe space for my clients.
