I believe we all need support at some point in our lives, and it is my passion to walk with you in your healing journey.
I am fluent in English and Spanish. I was born and raised in Guatemala, and have made Connecticut my home for the last 22 years. As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the challenges of immigration, adapting to new cultures and environments, language barriers, and generational trauma.
I specialize in sexual abuse, grief/loss, relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, life transitions and addictive behaviors. My therapeutic approach includes trauma-focused, Adlerian, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and biblical counseling (upon request).
My goal is that my clients feel safe, seen, valued and be able to process life significant events, unresolved trauma, loss, addiction and relational issues. In my therapy room, all of your parts are welcomed!
