Hi! Hola! I am Maria I Montalvo, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I know it can be difficult to make the decision to start therapy . I feel honored you stopped by to see if we might be a good fit together. Throughout my years of practice I've worked with people with a variety of mental Health conditions. My primary goal as your therapist is to assist you to reach your goals through resolving negative patterns , and improving quality of life. Important Note: I also offer sessions in Spanish. Also clients that are responsible and committed to therapy and express their feelings. Establishing trust a strong sense of rapport with my clients is essential for success in therapy.
In our first session together, we will start with a brief introduction, then I will explain how therapy works and answer any question you may have. Then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
