Hello, my name is Maria Hernandez, a Licensed marriage and family therapist and I am excited that you are here today. My primary job as a psychotherapist is to assist others manage issues in life.
I enjoy helping others, I like proving the right tools to individuals in order to allow them to see their potential in life; to see them make progress towards their goals. However, this is not my only role in life I am also a friend, partner, step parent which plays a role on who I am today and my personality.
I believe my personality is very welcoming to others. I am friendly, a good listener, and empathetic, this has helped my approach in therapy as it eases the process of building rapport and setting an accepting environment. I was raised in the Christian home, with values and morals that now define who I am and have also helped my career
