Group for Adult Children of Alcoholics/Addicts
Did you grow up in a chaotic atmosphere? Do you struggle with intimate relationships? Do you find yourself overreacting to things that happen at work or in your personal life? Adults who grew up around unavailable parents may experience hypervigilance (a state of heightened awareness) or sometimes the opposite occurs, and you might experience feelings of depression and disconnection, underreacting when you should be responding. This 8- week in-person therapist led support group is designed to help clients understand and transcend the way their childhood patterns are impacting their lives and learn how to break free of survival styles.
