I am a counselor committed to helping kids, teens and adults learn how to regulate emotions and process their experience. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, habits and beliefs around anxiety, perfectionism and trauma. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. I am passionate about developing relationships with clients to facilitate change within their lives and the systems they live in.

I see each client as their own individual with unique experiences while also taking cultural factors like environment, ethnicity, race, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation and gender identity into consideration to develop a holistic view of who you are as a client and the impact of your experiences.

In my work, I focus on developing a safe space for you to process your experiences. I will follow your lead, this is your counseling journey and I want to help your meet your goals and find confidence, peace and awareness. I use Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) with children ages 3-9/10. I convey empathy and warmth by listening, caring about and understanding the client's experiences. With teens, base my practice in Adlerian theory but I will use various activities, like sand tray, expressive arts and games to make counseling developmentally appropriate for your child.
