Clients motivated to make change or enhance their interpersonal skills and relationships are my forte. I like working with clients of all ages on family relationships, interpersonal skills, parenting and co-parenting, anxiety/depression management, creativity and personal growth. I also have extensive experience working with domestic violence and trauma victims and adoptive families. I employ experiential techniques to enhance communication and understanding throughout the healing and growth process. I also provide Child Specialist services for collaborative/cooperative divorce candidates and parent coaching/consultation.
In private practice in Charlotte since 1994, I work with children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing high conflict divorce, anxiety/stress, personal growth, grief/loss and family estrangement. I enjoy facilitating staff development and parenting education and offer supervision for LCMHCAs, consultation/training for court involved MH providers.
I am a Child Specialist in the Charlotte Collaborative Divorce Professionals Group. I offer Reunification Therapy for parents and children experiencing a resist/refuse dynamic in their relationship and co-parenting coaching. I'm also certified in Open Studio Process and offer classes for adults, adolescents and families in OSP and creative arts modalities.
