Hello, my name is Maria Baldasseroni, I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in the state of California. I see the journey taken in psychotherapy as one of the most important journeys one can take for self-discovery and sense of self-empowerment. I also firmly believe that the first step toward creating a healthy environment that nourishes healthy relationships starts with the ability to look within and create a safe space where to practice self-compassion and self-love.
I mostly work with adults who suffers from mild to moderate depression, anxiety and adjustment disorder. I work with adults who are going through life transitions or are dealing with unresolved trauma and grief. I am trained in EMDR and utilize it for trauma related conditions.
I am a warm and personable individual who loves communication and comes from a collective culture where I learned the value of being direct and sincere. My practice style is infused with wisdom and also a touch of humor.
