I believe that self-acceptance and self-understanding are fundamental to meaningful change and that each of us has an innate healing capacity and ability to thrive. Sometimes, unresolved memories or traumas, anxiety, depression, self-criticism, identity issues, cultural conditioning or daily stressors can stand in the way of our sense of vitality and efficacy in life. I provide clients with a supportive, non-judgmental space (with a bit of humor when appropriate) to process psychological distress and get to the root of what is keeping you from orienting toward more authenticity and balance.
My approach is intuitive, direct, and rooted in contemporary psychology, neuroscience, and non-dogmatic spirituality. I specialize in a trauma treatment called EMDR and in women's health and feminine psychology. I also incorporate life coaching skills and work well with clients who are motivated to do deep work and take action to create change.
Having worked in the therapy and healing field for over 10 years now, I have seen that experiences like pain, loss, grief, and heartbreak are natural parts of life.
