My life took on a whole other meaning growing up as a military dependent and after the death of my Mother. Through it all, I've learned that life is a matter of perspective. I love more passionately, I'm not religious, but my faith has come full circle. There's a quote that speaks volumes and has become the mission behind Lotus of Life Counseling: 'The lotus flower rises through the mud before blooming. It moves past challenges and keeps growing.'
