About
Contacting a counselor can be intimidating, taking a bold step towards your own healing and health. I wholeheartedly believe that therapy helps people get to where they want to be mentally, interpersonally, and emotionally. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Clinical Supervisor providing psychotherapy and counseling services to adults, adolescents, and couples. My practice specializes in addressing issues related to anxiety, grief, depression, relationships, and career concerns that keep people from functioning optimally.
My approach utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and positive psychology in treating symptoms of anxiety and depression, while tailoring therapy to each client's individual needs and goals.
I am an Emory University alum, and completed my graduate training at Mercer University with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I lead clinical supervision and professional consultation groups for mental health providers, and have served as an adjunct professor for graduate-level counseling programs.
