With over 50 years of psychotherapy experience, I specialize in anxiety management, relationship issues, depression, medical illness-related concerns and chronic insomnia.
My approach is active, collaborative and goal-directed. We will focus on resolving current problems as well as identifying and changing patterns that perpetuate distress. When appropriate, I incorporate mind-body techniques, hypnosis and/or EMDR into treatment.
I have taught graduate courses on Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have also presented numerous workshops on coping with cancer , the impact of cancer on the family and the challenge of the transition after cancer treatment.
