I offer a welcoming and encouraging environment and use primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I will work with you on living your values through your actions and beliefs. We’ll take a holistic view of your strengths and resources and incorporate them into an action plan to improve your life. Bringing mindfulness and self-compassion to your thoughts and feelings is one of the major concepts in ACT that we’ll work on together.
I’m a licensed therapist in Chicago and have an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Psychology and two master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling & Clinical Psychology for Illinois Institute of Technology. I have also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay and have worked with veterans at a local VA hospital.
Anxiety and depression are two of my specialties. I work with individuals who support their loved ones through physical and mental health issues. I’ve spent years working with caregivers and am experienced in collaborating with them on solutions to the challenges of dementia.
