When life is difficult, we need a place to explore how to regain our emotional balance of self. In therapy, we focus on how past experiences and relationships have shaped the way we interact with others and how we learned to negotiate the world around us.
When we feel cut off from others or from ourselves, our innate sense of wholeness can get lost beneath unbearable aloneness. I help clients to reconnect by attending closely to attachment wounds and to the history that is held in the body - including healthy impulses toward self-righting and recovery.
It's important to me that you feel supported and cared for in therapy, so that we can create a space in which you can be open, honest, and vulnerable. I hope you will experience me as warm, responsive, and perceptive, while also gently challenging you to perhaps think and act in some new ways.
