I help individuals face life's demands in a direct, embodied, and gentle way. My professional practice is rooted in psychodynamic, humanistic, mindful and somatic approaches. I have extensive experience in working with trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, and general life stressors.
Because of my background as a performer and in movement studies, I bring forward a dynamic outlook into what it means to be well and healthy. I use a variety of therapeutic tools and strategies, which are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
My style is warm, active, and relational. I have experience working in psychiatric outpatient clinics and in mental health environments. Additional training includes: Hakomi Graduate/Integration of Hakomi principles, FOT (Focusing Oriented Therapist and Trainer), Yoga Certification, Mind-Body approach, Movement Awareness Studies.
