I am Licensed Professional Counselor providing individual counseling to teens - adults fusing a variety of individual, family, and group treatment modalities. I have a particular interest and expertise in partnering with clients who present with a variety of mental health diagnoses including (but not limited to) mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adolescent/adult ADHD, problems with adjustment, as well as working with individuals hoping to gain insight into everyday issues.
Striving to be a positive force, I have provided counseling services for over 20 years. My varied background includes work in the public school system as a professional school counselor, working as an intensive in-home therapist helping to stabilize children and adolescents to prevent out of home placement, and conducting clinical mental health assessments.
My approach to therapy is varied- including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed, and strengths-based perspectives.
