I work with individuals and couples of all ages and backgrounds. Experience as a therapist includes community mental health & work with children, teens & parents (primarily in school settings). My therapy focus is on wholeness regardless of the problem, but to provide a context, the work I do addresses residual post-trauma effects, ADD, grief and loss, chronic depression, social (and other forms of) anxiety, and self-integration needs following separation and/or divorce. A therapeutic fit with a good counselor is a huge relief; it helps us recover an inner resilience we either lost or never knew we possessed.
In my own journey, a personal mindfulness practice going back years has been key in finding & sustaining clarity and direction. Now, neuroscience backs this up for all of us. This is a vital pathway by which I assist clients, whether dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles--or simply recognizing that they have hit a wall and feel confused.
No matter the degree of psychological distress, healing is an invitation to meet and discover our higher--truer--self. It is my privilege to walk a part of this pathway with a client, regardless of where they are when we meet.
