Overwhelmed, confused, anxiety, frustration, stuck or numb? All relationships (marriage, partners, parenting, work) can create these feelings. I work with adults and couples in issues of loss, children/adolescence, life changes, blended families, parenting, using a variety of helpful methods. I specialize in a holistic approach including cognitive therapy, DBT, marital/vocational/school issues, assertiveness, relationship support, parenting strategies, behavioral and insight based in a supportive and caring style. I have been a therapist and an educator and I have life experience that connects me with my clients.
I use several methods starting with a deep understanding of what brings a person to therapy. Kind, caring and compassionate insights to experience relief and hope. I have experience in several types of therapeutic approaches and I treat each person as a unique individual with important needs.
An holistic approach which includes insight, stress management, cognitive-behavioral, DBT, parenting styles. I identify needs to quickly help a family support their children. Couples, children, adults who may have experienced challenges in the areas of health issues, loss, adoption and blended families.
