I have expertise in women's issues and often assist in improving women's self esteem, confidence, independence and mood. Women often come to see me when they are unstable or unhappy in their relationships, or when they notice they are feeling more down, pessimistic or withdrawn then usual. Work stress and losses also can factor in. Together we can get clarity about what is impacting the current situation, and then problem solve what to do to fix it. I also have extensive training in couples therapy.
I look at therapy as a growth process. You may seek therapy because you are in emotional crisis, or because you are stuck and aren't sure what to do to make changes to feel better, or have tried to make changes and have not been successful. I will listen carefully, and with time we will determine options and strategies to make the changes you want and need.
