I understand how overwhelming and isolating different life stages, struggles, and transitions can be, especially when external sources add to the suffering. I work with couples who are navigating communication issues, infidelity, and parental struggles. These experiences can impact emotional connection, trust, and overall feelings of security and stability in your relationship. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals (adults and teens) who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties coping with various transitions in life, including infertility and maternal struggles.
With my background in Betrayal Trauma, and working with women as a Doula, I don't believe there is a "one size fits all" approach to life or therapy. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy, Parts Work, DBT, CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy within my sessions. This allows us to create a plan that is tailored to each individuals specific strengths and needs.
I believe healing and improvements can only happen when there is a clear understanding of our emotions, thoughts, beliefs and how they impact our behaviors. In honor of this belief, I strive to balance compassion, and gentle challenges to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and progress towards your own personal goals.
