I believe that most of us, at some point in our lives, face various mental health challenges. Fortunately, I also believe that if we commit ourselves to carefully examining our own actions and beliefs we can, ultimately, overcome these challenges and forge a more meaningful and fulfilling existence. This process, however, can be difficult-sometimes even painful.
My role is to provide a safe place for clients to increase self-awareness and I will “walk with them” as they "face" personal challenges and move in a positive direction. The issues we confront together may be current life stressors or difficulties buried deep in the past. In either case, the client is the expert and will lead us to where we need to go.
I work most effectively with children, adolescents, and young adults and employ a variety of proven treatment methods.
