Out of place in the suburbs as a neurodivergent, rainbow sheep, I was able to discover belonging in fantasy, science fiction, storytelling, and arts and crafts. I still belong in those spaces and have discovered more treasures along the way, including comic books, superheroes, TTRPGs/roleplaying games (like D&D), video games, and other artsy and nerdy things.
I work with adults as well as adolescents (14 and older) for individual therapy. I am especially interested in working with queer, trans, and gender-diverse folks, religious exiters and those with religious trauma, cult/abusive system survivors, writers and readers, storytellers, creative folks and artists, and nerds/geeks.
I bring the lenses of narrative, acceptance and commitment (ACT), relational-cultural, feminist, dialectical behavioral (DBT), and humanist therapies into the counseling space. My approach is that you are the expert on your own lived experience, and I view my job as learning with you so that you can gain a better understanding of what you’re going through.
