About
I entered the counseling field because I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and live healthy, meaningful lives. I utilize a person-centered, strengths-based, and integrative style of therapy, drawing heavily from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-informed practices. I also welcome faith and spirituality as a key element of the therapy process, whenever appropriate. I work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, aging, grief and loss, relationships, and stress.
It is my privilege to partner with you to help you reach your goals by using approaches tailored for your individual needs in an environment of safety, respect, and acceptance. Together we will work on identifying strengths within yourself, increasing self-awareness and self-acceptance, and learning new tools to work toward growth and change.
