I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 30 years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, and medical social work. I have extensive experience treating individuals across various age groups and addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, mood disorders, substance abuse, mental stress, grief, and anger, all of which can impact overall functioning. I also enjoy teaching stress reduction methods, including meditation techniques and progressive muscle relaxation.
I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Grand Valley State University. My approach is client-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
