Our lives are complicated and busy with very little time to figure out what to do next. That is why when we have issues it can be difficult to see our way out. This is where therapy is helpful; to speak to someone who is caring, accepting and can objectively see both the larger and smaller pictures. Being non-judgmental is the key to allowing people to be heard and allow some healing to begin. Sometimes it just takes validation or a new perspective to make all the difference in your life.
My style is very client focused, adapting to your needs and goals. I attempt this by listening to you and sorting out ways to make sure your therapy goals are reasonable and reachable. I work with several types of issues including sexual issues, intimacy issues, some types of trauma, depression, and anxiety.
My practice is focused on making people feel relaxed, secure and that they are in a judgment free zone. I believe everyone should be treated with care and understanding regardless of history. I was raised in a mixed-cultured environment where everyone was accepted, respected, and cared for. This is what I hope to bring in my practice.
