A little bit about myself, I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. My therapeutic approach is person centered, influenced by a combination of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy. I have experience providing therapy to young children, teens and adults as well as families. I have experience with inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment as well as with crisis stabilization and trauma care. I work with children, teens, and adults who have ADHD, ODD, depression, anxiety, anger, PTSD, trauma, survivors of abuse or assult, and much more.
My specialty is children and adolescents ages 4+. I try to make therapy a fun and rewarding experience for all my clients. I often including a child's personalized interests into therapy activities to encourage motivation and engagement.
