As we walk through life it may feel as if we have the world on our shoulders. We begin, for example, to feel stuck, lost, tired, and lonely. So it feels as if there is no way to free ourselves. In order to shield ourselves from the pain caused by the world around us we become closed off and distant from others and ourselves. This is when we build our barrier around us and don't reach out.

It may be hard to be vulnerable with our family, friends, and selves but it isn't impossible. It is important for me to create a safe space where you can open up and freely share yourself. I bring a person-centered, existential, and family systems approach which helps me be empathetic as a look at the whole person.
