I specialize in neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular focus on autism and associated conditions (e.g., sensory processing difficulties, ADHD). I am particularly interested in early intervention with young children using a relationship-based and play-based model (e.g., DIR/Floortime, Play Project). Social groups are created as needed.
My 30 years experience has taught me to put parents first. My training in Developmental Psychology, Infant Mental Health, and Clinical Neuropsychology has taught me to value collaboration with developmental pediatricians, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, developmental psychiatrists/neurologists, developmental therapists, and school advocates/personnel for the strongest outcome.
I also provide parenting intervention during the prenatal period, including doula support. In addition, clients have the option to participate in an animal therapy program.
