I address many issues, including anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. This is especially focused on your effectiveness in your personal and work life. I can help you to better understand your interpersonal relationships and find more constructive responses and approaches to them. I can support you in addressing trauma (including emotional, sexual, and physical abuse) and bereavement to move you through stages of healing to attain your goals of whole and deeper connection to others and to yourself. I teach a breathing method. I can also assist you clarify your sexual identity and find ways to communicate about it with others.
One aspect of my practice has been my work with clients who are concerned about integrating their faith orientation with their therapeutic work. I am open to various spirituality orientations and faith traditions, although particularly experienced with Christians. The goal is to see how you are utilizing it in healthy or nonhealthy ways and try to improve it
I enjoy doing premarital counseling. Wise couples try to ascertain early on whether they provide a good fit for one another.
