I have many years of experience with a wide range of diverse client populations. My expertise lies in being able to provide an accepting environment in which a client may feel comfortable in sharing their feelings and concerns. I'm a good listener but more than listen, I provide the feedback that is necessary to move the treatment along.
I work with adults ages 18 + to any age. Often people seek treatment when they feel stuck in a stage of life. Sometimes there are particular symptoms, depression or anxiety, panic attacks,or obsessive thoughts etc. I see many clients who come for help with relationship issues.
I try to gather as much information in the initial meeting so that I can gain a sense of how I can help . It is important for a potential client to have an opportunity to determine whether or not they they feel comfortable with me so that we can develop a rapport. I view the relationship as a joint effort and welcome feedback.
