I am passionate about helping people of all ages get past their past, and into living a life that is meaningful and fulfilling in the present. If you are struggling to cope with relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief and loss, or any overwhelming experience, whether past or present, I can help you navigate a path through the challenges you are facing. Our relationship in therapy provides a workspace in which you and I can partner to address ineffective behaviors and habits, explore difficult thoughts and feelings, and find some clarity about beliefs regarding yourself and your future.
EMDR therapy is based on a model that tells us that our wellbeing depends on how we have been able to process our past life experiences. Research demonstrates that brains are actually rewired during EMDR therapy, with a lasting improvement in a person's perspective on past, present and future life experiences. You may find that EMDR therapy can help you.
Because my focus is on empowering you to make your way toward having a life you find worthwhile and hopeful, a course of therapy with me is generally shorter than you might expect.
