I am excited to announce our next Hold Me Tight couples workshop: October 5 & 6, 2024! Check under Groups for more information. I enjoy working with individual adults and couples. I meet my clients with warmth and acceptance, and provide a safe, calm, and grounding space that supports them in dealing with issues such as grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety and depression, distance or conflict in relationships, developing personal identity, working through trauma, and parenting issues.
The attachment framework found in Emotionally Focused Therapy undergirds my work. I believe we are all built for connection, and that our early attachment experiences mark our ways of relating to others, and to ourselves. I also incorporate Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral and Mindfulness techniques in my work.
I am married with two young adult sons, and have 20-plus years of experience working with youth and families. I appreciate differences, and enjoy working with people of many backgrounds and worldviews. If you want to include your spirituality in therapy, I am happy to do that.

Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshops
Do you and your partner struggle to communicate and connect? Our Hold Me Tight® workshops, based on Dr. Susan Johnson's empirically proven therapy model Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), present an emotionally focused, educational version of EFT, taught in a safe and supportive atmosphere. You and your partner will be guided through seven conversations that capture the defining moments in a love relationship, and will be instructed how to shape these moments into a secure and lasting bond.
