I enjoy working with teens, adults, couples and groups. My counseling style is honest, direct, warm and non-judgmental. I am skilled in helping individuals and couples work through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, negative self image, codependency, addictive patterns and relationship stressors. In order to help you make changes, find relief, and heal emotional wounds, I expect a willingness to self-reflect and an openness to self-compassion.When we are seeking change, it is vital to develop a healthy relationship with oneself.

Mindfulness and self-compassion are at the core of our work together. I am trained in somatic experiencing, IFS, CBT and DBT. I also incorporate positive psychology, polyvagal theory, and attachment theory.

I know what it is like to suffer from emotional distress; it is completely normal. If you are feeling trapped in painful emotions and body sensations, know that your body is capable of getting unstuck.
