Hello- I'm Marci Brengle, LCSW. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR). I can help guide you through processing past experiences to help facilitate and grow in your understanding of yourself, boundaries, anxiety, depression, nightmares, PTSD, and more.
EMDR uses processes your body is already capable of, and with guidance and support, you can feel the best version of yourself with this powerful therapy. Over the years I have practiced this therapy, I continue to see the relief and understanding it can offer.
I use humor, and authenticity to create a space for you, to approach as you feel comfortable.
I provide online therapy in Virginia, Georgia and Florida. Though I specialize in EMDR, I am trained in other therapies, including DBT, CPT and CBT. While EMDR can be a quick therapy, healing and learning, processing the past takes some time, and on-going engagement is going to be the most important factor. I will show up for you and be consistent.
Our first appointment will consist of us getting to know each other, and your experiences, what has been helpful and not so helpful for you. Our future appointments will be getting an agreed upon starting point, skill building, then jumping into the processing piece of therapy.
