For close to two decades I have worked with clients to process deep emotional trauma and change core beliefs in order to address anxiety, emotional regulation, and improve relationships.
My role includes going beyond "vent session therapy" to focus on change. Through a combination of evidence based, gold-standard treatment protocols, we will start by identifying key core beliefs and negative thinking at the root of your anxiety and depression. Treatment will also focus on building emotional regulation skills through valuable DBT strategies.
I understand therapy can be intimidating! Especially when you've experienced emotional trauma and struggle with shame. I believe in a compassionate but challenging, change oriented but gentle approach. Clients describe me as warm and laid back. I actively ask thought provoking questions and do not believe in awkward silences or "how does it make you feel."
