Do you feel like you're running into the same walls over and over? Maybe your relationship isn't what you dreamed it would be, old hurts keep showing up uninvited, or you're tired of wearing a mask just to get through the day. If you lie awake wondering why everything feels so heavy and connection seems so hard to find – especially if you've heard "that's not something we do" or "just pray about it" – I get it. As a Black therapist with over 30 years of experience, I offer a safe space where you can be fully yourself, heal those deeper wounds, and build the genuine connections you're looking for.
Ever notice how the same patterns keep showing up in your life? Together, we WILL get to the heart of what's holding you back. Whether you're coming in solo or with your partner, I'll help you move past old hurts that block real connection. My approach blends heart and science to help you feel more secure in your relationships and at peace with yourself.
Taking that first step can feel huge – but you don't have to figure this out alone. I offer a free consultation so we can see if we're a good fit. My online sessions make it easy to get the support you need from the comfort of your own space, on your schedule. Ready to start your journey toward deeper connections and real healing?

Groups
The Amandla Group
Amandla can be characterized as a socioprocess group. Michael P. Wilbur and Janice Roberts-Wilbur describe a socioprocess group as a group whose “primary goal is to cause an examination of member attitudes, values, belief systems, ideas, and opinions through a combination of information, orientation, and discussion” (p. 66). Amandla will be a place for self-exploration and for the sharing of these ideas and feelings. Participants will be invited to examine THEIR values, behaviors, and relationships with others and to look at the direction of THEIR life to determine what changes they want to make.
